Today Charley taught the Lolita Skirt at the shop. This is one of five skirts she cut fabrics for and she finished this one first. See! Dr. Suess isn't just for kids! Lots of fun and very cute in any fabric combinations.

Pajamaa Partyy!!

Hi Quilters! We are finally getting our class schedule ready for the fall! Our first class is our "Pajama Party" Pajama Pants, to clelebrate Carol's birthday! Friday and Saturday, October 15th & 16th. On Friday we are celebrating all day and offering the class from 10am-5pm and 5pm-9pm. Come and celebrate with us at the front porch! Please sign up in advance. This is also a great project to use on your serger! && they make great Christmas Gifts!

Charley's best friend Haiden turned 16 on July 11th. Charley made her this Turning Sixteen quilt made with FQ's! This is the Turning Twenty pattern made smaller.

This week Charley and I are visiting Ft. Myers Beach at our time share. We have had lots of fun just us girls!

I found this little guy playing dead so a bird wouldn't eat him!

I was driving by the beach school to show Charley the tree that my first grade class played Lost in Space on. Charley then said, "Oh, who are these people?" "Well, I see Will Farrell on the right." It was a good laugh.

As many of you know, this past week my family and I went to Ft. Myers Beach to have my parents memorial service. My friend and great helper at the shop, Carol and her husband were able to come and spend it with us. This is what she worked on while she was there!
